the Bette bra is a 4 piece cup bra PDF pattern with a longer line frame, designed for women with larger cups and smaller frames. Following the brand theme, the size range is band size 30-38, and cup size D-G (UK sizing ).

Inspired by Bette Davis, it follows the brand theme of Old Hollywood glamour/vintage luxe style.

It was inspired for its design and construction detail. Fitting notes can be found below.

The first variation, in lace and satin, is the base variation, and it is highly recommended to toile first to assess the fit, being designed for a non stretch embroidered tulle lace.

Following this, more advanced seamstresses may choose to make the vintage inspired fabric or embroidered tulle versions, with or without a neckline ruffle. These are designed to be made with non stretch fabrics. This also then allows for the possibility of using upcycled fabrics and other dressmaking fabrics.

Wider decorative straps may also be added, once the base version has been made, to assess strap length in this design.

Detailed instructions are given for construction for all three variations.

The pattern was designed for its design and construction details, and is more suited to intermediate to advanced seamstresses.

The pattern is designed for those with large cups/small frames and particularly those with a more broad shape, needing horizontal and upper cup volume. However, as designed for intermediate to advanced bra bra makers, most will be able to make the adjustments they require for the upper cup, strap attachment and torso shape although the former two are outlined in the pattern booklet. A detailed wire chart, measurements chart and sister sizing chart (from the the instruction booklet) is also displayed on the website listing. As the instructions are very detailed, beginner bra makers may be able to try the lace and satin variation one.

Pattern pieces are designed to be printed as is on either A4 or US letter.
